Man Hurt in Santa Rosa Stabbing
The victim was stabbing several times in the arm, hand and neck.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect after a man was injuring in a stabbing incident early Thursday morning.
Authorities say the man was walking in the vicinity of West and Hearn avenues when he was accosted by the suspect.
“After a brief verbal exchange, the victim and male suspect became involved in a physical altercation,” Lt. Al Vernon said.

During the fight, the victim was stabbed multiple times in the arm, hand and neck Vernon said.
The suspect then fled in a white SUV, he said.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital by a private car for stab wounds, Vernon said.
Hospital staff contact the sheriff’s department to report the stabbing at around 2:55 a.m., he said.
The victim’s condition is unknown but his wounds are not expected to be life-threatening.
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Investigation unit is conducting a follow-up investigation into the stabbing.
