BREAKING: The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help identify the suspect.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- Sonoma County sheriff's deputies are seeking a suspect who allegedly bought $1,000 worth of gift cards with credit cards found in a wallet left at a gas station in Sonoma earlier this month. A man was fueling up his car at the Chevron gas station at 540 W. Napa St. at about 3:40 p.m. on Aug. 13 and had put his wallet on top of his car, then accidentally drove away and left it behind, sheriff's officials
said.
Shortly afterward, the man received a call from his credit card company about suspected fraud on the account, which had the $1,000 worth of gift cards purchased at four stores around Sonoma, according to the sheriff's office.
