Man Wearing 'Wolverine-Style' Metal Claws Arrested In NorCal: Police
The man appeared to have been camping illegally around a trail when he was found by officers conducting foot patrols, police said.

SEBASTOPOL, CA — A man wearing a large "Wolverine-style metal knuckle" was arrested while illegally camping in Northern California on Thursday, police said.
Officers with the Sebastopol Police Department were conducting foot patrols in a wooded area of the Joe Rodota Trail when they saw the man wearing the bladed knuckles, authorities said.
It's unclear what the knuckles were made of. While searching the man, officers found a meth pipe in his pocket and found that he was camping illegally and storing trash near a state waterway, police said.

The man was taken into custody in connection with the knuckles, which police say are classified as a weapon and a felony, in addition to the drug paraphernalia found on him and the illegal camping, according to authorities.

"Our officers regularly conduct proactive patrols of the Joe Rodota Trail and surrounding areas to check for safety concerns and address quality of life offenses," the Sebastopol Police Department said in a statement Thursday. "Our goal is to keep our parks, trails and waterways safe, clean and welcoming for everyone."
