Missing Girl, 11, Reunited With Family Members: Santa Rosa Police
The Santa Rosa girl was reported missing Thursday; police said she was with her mother, who does not have legal custody.

SANTA ROSA, CA — An 11-year-old Santa Rosa girl reported missing four days ago is back in the care of family members who have legal guardianship, police said Sunday evening. The search for Jada Falls Scott began Thursday after a family member went to pick her up from Binkley Elementary School only to discover she was not there, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
Later it was revealed by police that Jada was believed to be with her mother, 38-year-old Vianna Scott. Santa Rosa police asked for the public's help in locating Jada because Vianna does not have legal custody of her daughter.
In an update at 5:39 p.m. Sunday, Santa Rosa police said: "Jada is safe and is home with her family. Thank you to all the members of the community [who] got the word out."

"Investigators are still determining where they had been the past few days," Harrington said via email. "When the investigation is complete, detectives will determine if there’s sufficient evidence to seek criminal charges against the mother."
