Napa Driver Injured When Car Crashes Into Market Near Sonoma

A 65-year-old man was injured when his vehicle crashed into a market near Sonoma on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Stephen Thomas Kroyer, 65, of Napa, was driving a 4-door 2005 Cadillac DTS east on state Highway 12 around 3:40 p.m. when it crossed over the westbound lane and drove into the La Morenita Market No. 3 at 18307 state Highway 12 in Boyes Hot Springs north of Sonoma, CHP Officer Anna Paulson said.

Kroyer suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash, Paulson said. The market sustained severe damage and a building inspector was called to the scene, Paulson said. No one in the market was injured, she said.
