Photos Released On Suspect Vehicle In Hit-and-Run In Sonoma Crosswalk

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has released photos of a vehicle that is believed to have fled after striking a pedestrian Friday afternoon in Sonoma, in an attempt to locate the driver.

The crash occurred around 4 p.m. near Broadway and Andrieux Street, sheriff's officials said.

The male victim had been crossing the street while in the crosswalk when the suspect vehicle struck them before fleeing the scene, according to sheriff's officials.

The victim was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa and is recovering, sheriff's officials said.

An image of the vehicle of interest was captured by surveillance video and is being described as a 2002-2008 model silver Pontiac Grand Prix with four doors, a rear spoiler and stock wheels. There appears to be damage
on the car's hood and the windshield is cracked, mostly on the driver's side, according to sheriff's officials.

The driver appears to be a white man wearing an orange, short-sleeved shirt, which is commonly worn by construction workers, sheriff's officials said.
