Several Parks Closed Immediately
If you were planning a hike, bike ride or other outing in these parks and open space--you need to modify your plans.
City officials in Fairfield have issued a Red Flag Closure for Rockville Hills Regional Park, Spyglass Open Space and the Serpas Ranch/Rolling Hills Open Space due to potential fire danger.
The closure was issued at 8 p.m. Thursday and due to current weather conditions posing high fire danger.
The closure will be in place until Saturday or until weather conditions subside.
