Sonoma Commission Faces Big Decisions On City Spaces

SONOMA VALLEY, CA — Sonoma’s Parks Commission meets Wednesday to review proposals that could reshape some of the city’s most visited public spaces.

From new memorials to park renovations, local groups pitching projects include veterans, garden club, and a woman's club.

The American Veterans Post 55 service organization will present a plan for a memorial at the Sonoma Veteran’s Cemetery, with staff recommending conditional approval pending city sign-off on the final design and installation.
