Sonoma County To 'March For Our Lives'
At least two March For Our Lives demonstrations are slated for tomorrow, March 24, in Sonoma County. Here is what you need to know.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Millions of people across the U.S. and internationally are planning to take part Saturday, March 24 in more than 800 marches and rallies to protest gun violence. In Sonoma County, March For Our Lives demonstrations are planned in Santa Rosa and Sonoma Valley.
March For Our Lives comes just 10 days after students across the country walked out of class as part of a nationwide effort to protest gun violence and push lawmakers to strengthen gun control laws. The walkout took place on the one-month anniversary of the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.

Santa Rosa March For Our Lives
Time and location: 10 a.m. at Courthouse Square, 600-636 Fourth St., Santa Rosa, CA
Organizers said: "The mission and focus of March For Our Lives (Santa Rosa) is to demand that a comprehensive and effective bill be immediately brought before Congress to address gun violence. Our only agenda is to make sure our voices are heard by the people we have elected to represent us and demand that they take action to ensure that all students, teachers, parents, ......all community members feel safe in our schools."

Sonoma Valley March For Our Lives Rally
Time and location: noon - 2 p.m. at Sonoma Plaza, 435 1st St. East, Sonoma, CA
The Sonoma Valley Democrats are hosting a March For Our Lives rally "to advocate for gun control and to demand that safety at school becomes a priority," organizers said. The event will be staged in front of Sonoma Plaza. Participants are encouraged to bring signs.
