The County and municipalities will transition to providing essential services only and many of the County and cities’ facilities will be closed to the public. These agencies are committed to providing the necessary and essential services for public health and safety.

Emergency law enforcement and fire services, water and wastewater treatment, emergency road repairs and transit services are ongoing. While City of Santa Rosa and Regional Parks remain open, people are reminded to use precautions if visiting parks (high-risk individuals should stay home, and others should avoid congregating).

The move to an essential service only model will be effective Tuesday, March 17 through April 5, 2020. The County and municipalities will continue to evaluate circumstances on an-ongoing basis in consultation with the Sonoma County Public Health Officer, and in coordination
