Thirsty Hummingbird: Sonoma Co. Photo Of The Week

At the end of another warm Sonoma day, a hummingbird tries to keep its cool.

SONOMA, CA — Even the wildlife know the first full week of fall has been warm in Sonoma County. Shown here is one of four tiny hummingbirds photographer Al Francis spotted hovering around a bird feeder at the end of another hot day, just trying to keep their cool like the rest of Sonoma County!

Gorgeous shot, Al! Thanks for sharing and reminding us of the beauty that surrounds us.
