Voters Urged To Return Vote-By-Mail Ballots For The Special Election In Sonoma County On March 2

Santa Rosa, CA – Deva Marie Proto, Sonoma County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor-Registrar of Voters, reminds voters residing in the West Sonoma County Union High School District and/or the Bodega Bay Fire Protection District that the deadline to return Vote-by-Mail ballots for the March 2, 2021 Special Election is rapidly approaching.

Voters who have outstanding Vote-By-Mail ballots can return them in one of three ways:

1. Send them back in the mail, no postage required. Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received at the Registrar of Voters Office by March 5 in order to be counted.
2. Deposit them in one of 20 ballot drop boxes installed throughout the county. The drop boxes will be open 24/7 until Election Day at 8:00 p.m.
3. Take them to one of 20 polling places open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
