UPDATE: Vehicle Murder Victim Identified

The homicide-by-vehicle was reported shortly before 4 a.m. in the 11100 block of LInden Street.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's office identified a man murdered by a driver who ran over him during an argument.

The victim was identified as Ivan Torres of Inglewood; he was struck by a compact car before the driver left the scene.

Sheriff's homicide investigators Sunday sought two suspects in a murder that occurred when one man intentionally drove his vehicle over another man during an argument in Lynwood.

The homicide-by-vehicle was reported shortly before 4 a.m. in the 11100 block of Linden Street, according to Los Angeles sheriff's officials.

Investigators determined the murder occurred at a party, where an argument occurred, and at some point the suspect got into a vehicle and ran over the victim.

The suspect vehicle -- with two occupants -- was last seen heading north on Linden Street, officials said.
