Lynwood Welcomed Thanksgiving with Turkey Donations
Over one thousand Turkey's were given out last week by Lynwood businesses.
On Monday, November 19, 2012, over 200 Lynwood senior citizens stopped by the Lynwood Senior Citizens Center to pick up a free Thanksgiving turkey, courtesy of two Lynwood businesses, Triumph Processing and Smiles West Dentistry.
“The community always supports us,” said Dr. Barry Deirmenjian of Smile West Dentistry, which gave 150 turkeys during the event, according to a city issued press release. “So when we can, we want to support the community, we want to give back as much as possible.”
The Smile West Dentistry also gave out more than 200 free toothbrushes with free toothpaste to the seniors.
