The Lynwood Unified School District (LUSD) will host a workshop on Wednesday to explain the Deferred Action for Childhood Program. The workshop will take place at the Lynwood High School Library at 6 p.m.
“Lynwood Unified is committed to helping our community understand the Deferred Action program requirements and application process,” said Alfonso Morales, the current school board president and a lawyer specialized in immigration law, in a statement. “We also have streamlined the District’s internal process for obtaining official records to help current and former students apply for Deferred Action status.”
