Panera Bread officially joins the Pico Rivera community on July 30th and is teaming up with the Los Angeles Regional Food bank to help raise funds to fight local hunger.

The bakery-cafe will donate $1 to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for every new guest who registers for the MyPanera® loyalty program at the new Pico Rivera location from July 30 through August 30, 2013. The Food Bank feeds 1 million people in Los Angeles County every year and each $1 MyPanera donation will provide four meals to the hungry in Los Angeles.
The new Pico Rivera bakery-cafe will feature menu favorites such as the Strawberry Poppyseed and Chicken Salad, the Roasted Turkey and Avocado BLT, the Cuban Chicken Panini, and new offerings like the Chilled Shrimp and Soba Noodle Salad, all in a welcoming atmosphere with free WiFi.
