Poll: Do you support a subsidy for the Azalea Retail Project?

The city is currently negotiating an agreement that could result in a $12 million subsidy.

The Azalea Retail Project will be further discussed at a public hearing during tomorrows meeting. Residents will have a chance to voice their support or concerns over the development, which would construct a shopping mall on Firestone Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue.

Among the topics that residents will be able to discuss is the $12 million subsidy that is being considered by the city for the project.

Primestor, the developer of the project, believes that this is a , but others, such as council member Henry Gonzalez, have over the amount.
