The juveniles -- a 15-year-old boy and two girls, one 14 and the other 15 -- were seen by witnesses carrying property out of the side yard of a residence in the 24600 block of Falena Avenue in Lynwood around 3:15 p.m. Monday, sheriff's officials said.

"When witnesses shouted out to the juveniles, all three ran away carrying the stolen property with them,'' said Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Mark Moffett of the Lomita Station.

Deputies and a sheriff's helicopter responded to the scene and all three juveniles were found with numerous items of allegedly stolen property from the Falena Avenue residence as well as two other locations in Lomita, Moffett said.

The juveniles are suspected in other burglaries in Torrance and Los Angeles, he said.

All three were booked at the Lomita Station,  and held at Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall in Downey, Moffett said. They were due to be arraigned on Wednesday in Los Padrinos Court, he said.

Anyone with information about the burglaries and anyone who thinks they may have been victimized by the teens is urged to call Moffett or Detective Jennifer Williams at the Lomita Station at (310) 539-1661.
