Hi, I am Alejandro Lopez de Haro, the editor of South Gate Patch Latino, a bilingual online destination on all things South Gate.

This Web site is one of nearly 900 local Patch news and information sites which are part of the AOL Huffington Post Media Group. Its mission is to serve diverse communities. South Gate is one of three Patch Latino sites (Baldwin Park and Lynwood are the two others) that will offer dedicated coverage of topics of special interest to the Latino community.

A professional team of journalists will be working to bring you the best information in English and Spanish. All of our Patch Latino editors are Hispanic and speak and write in these two languages. They are close to their communities and have deep roots in the culture they are covering.
