SOUTH GATE, CA – The following is a collection of weekly police, court and fire stories from around the South Gate-Lynwood area this week.

The truck had been reported stolen the previous day within a one-mile radius from where officers arrested the suspect, police said.

A firefighter was one of the people injured in the single-story house fire.
