When Will Presidential Election 2012 Results Be Announced in California?
The polls in California will close at 8 p.m., but some in swing states will close earlier.

California voters have until 8 p.m. Pacific Standard Time to cast their 2012 ballots, but voting in other important swing states ends earlier, and exit polling could provide an early clue whether President Obama or Mitt Romney us closer to the White House.
Virginia is the earliest of key swing states to watch, where polls will close at 7 p.m. eastern standard time (10 p.m. in California time).
Voting will also end at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time in the swing states of Ohio and North Carolina.
