• SPUSD to Participate in Great California ShakeOut on Oct. 15 (southpasadenan.com) — South Pasadena Unified students and staff will join the Great California ShakeOut on Thursday, Oct. 15, including an emergency ParentSquare notification test that parents should watch for. The district is using the drill to reinforce earthquake, fire, and lockdown procedures developed with South Pasadena police and fire, and encourages families to review safety plans at home as well.
