10 People Lose Home in Daly City Fire

No one was injured in the Sunday blaze.

A house fire in Daly City displaced 10 residents this weekend, according to the North County Fire Authority.

Firefighters responded to a report of smoke in a building in the 500 block of San Diego Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, fire officials said.

Fire crews entered the two-story home filled with smoke, found the fire on the second floor and extinguished it. The blaze damaged a living room, according to fire officials.

The American Red Cross was called to assist 10 residents displaced by the fire, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
