2 Arrested for Alleged Assault of 2 Men at 49ers' Game at Levi's Stadium

The incident occurred in a bathroom before the game began, police said.

Two men suspected of assaulting two other men before the start of the San Francisco 49ers game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara Sunday afternoon were arrested, a police lieutenant said.

The assaults happened prior to the game’s kick off at 1:25 p.m. in a bathroom in the 300 level on the north side of the stadium, Santa Clara police Lt. Kurt Clarke said.

The two victims were transported to a hospital for treatment but Clarke did not disclose the extent of their injuries last night.

The two suspects were quickly arrested minutes after the alleged assaults and booked into county jail, Clarke said.

The suspects’ identities were not released, he said. Investigators are looking into what led to the assaults, Clarke said.
