Coroner IDs SSF Man Fatally Shot
The man allegedly refused commands to drop the weapon and was fatally shot by the officers.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA β A 59-year-old man who was fatally shot by South San Francisco police last week has been identified by the San Mateo County coroner's office as John Wayne Eno. Officers responding to a report of a disturbance involving a firearm in the 3700 block of Cork Place around 11:50 p.m. on May 23 were confronted by Eno, who was armed with a shotgun.
Eno, a South San Francisco resident, refused commands to drop the weapon and was fatally shot by the officers.
One of the officers was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
