Flights To, From SFO Delayed Because of Fog on Tuesday

Flights within 1,000 miles were affected, airport officials said.

Fog over San Francisco International Airport was causing delays for flights within 1,000 miles of the Bay Area Tuesday morning, an airport duty manager said.

Some flights to and from cities like Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles and San Diego were delayed 30 to 45 minutes.

The delay program was expected to last until 1 p.m., but may end sooner if the weather clears up, SFO duty manager Joe Walsh said.

SFO advised passengers to check flight times with their airline for possible changes.
