Man With 2 Prior DUI Convictions Arrested for Allegedly Violating Parole
The arrest was made during a recent undercover operation in Daly City.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday by Daly City police during a crackdown for repeat DUI offenders.
Following an undercover stakeout operation, Zijian Liu was taken into custody around 9 a.m. Wednesday on an outstanding arrest warrant for allegedly violating his parole in two prior DUI convictions in the past two years, police said.

Liu’s name was on a list provided to police by the state Department of Motor Vehicles in an effort to lower the amount of DUI re-offenders, according to police.
Liu, a Daly City resident, was on DUI probation and his driver’s license was suspended, police said.

As part of his probation, an ignition interlock device must be on his vehicle for one year, police said.
The operation was a partnership with the state Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
