Music School Franchise Amps Up Efforts to Spread Rock N' Roll Across San Francisco

School of Rock Reveals Expansion Plans for San Francisco Bay Area Over the Next 3 – 5 Years

San Francisco, CA School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, is targeting the San Francisco market for expansion. With three vibrant locations open and operating in the Bay Area, the company has announced plans to open eight new locations over the next three-to-five years. The new franchise locations would create more than 100 new jobs, and provide a unique outlet for students to explore their musical talent.

Having established nearly 10 percent of all its locations in California, School of Rock is positioned for immeasurable growth as it continues to attract music enthusiasts throughout the region. In fact, since opening in November 2013, School of Rock Palo Alto has exceeded traditional enrollment numbers in less than a year. Ranked as the fastest growing regions in the state, the Bay Area’s booming economy paired with the lack of music education programs in public schools remain attractive features as the music school franchise continues to expand its strong presence in the market. Named as one of the Top 10 U.S. Children’s Services Franchise Systems for 2014, School of Rock will continue amping up its expansion efforts to meet the increased demand for local music programs, filling the gap in music education.

“It’s an exciting time for School of Rock as we build momentum and take big steps towards reaching our expansion goals. It feels great to watch our franchisees that have found success continue to expand boundaries for growth,” said Aaron Delfausse, Vice President of Development. “The San Francisco Bay Area offers prospects access to promising locations that are lucrative in terms of volume with a growing demand for supplemental education centers.”
