• Genentech Pays $190M for Obesity Drug Built to Preserve Muscle GLP-1 Drugs Erode (techtimes.com) — Genentech, headquartered in South San Francisco, has agreed to pay $190 million upfront to license a new obesity drug from South Korea's Hanmi Pharmaceutical that aims to burn fat while preserving muscle.
