Murder-Suicide Pair ID'd By San Mateo Co. Coroner
The man and woman who died in an apparent murder-suicide were found in a Pacifica home, officials said. (Breaking)
PACIFICA, CA – Police said a man killed a woman he was in some sort of relationship with and then killed himself in an apparent murder-suicide Saturday evening in Pacifica.
The two people found dead Saturday evening were identified by the San Mateo County coroner's office as 57-year-old Pacifica woman Elizabeth Field and 61-year-old Pacifica man Murray Cherkas.
The pair was found dead at about 6:30 p.m. at a home on Alviso Court after someone called police to tell them they heard gunfire.

Police said it appeared that the pair died from gunshot wounds.
