The 68-year old San Bruno man told us he knows exactly what he plans to do with the $150,000 he just won on a Fantastic 5’s Scratchers® ticket.
“I want some money for my retirement,” Castillo said. That’s why he wants to bank and invest the vast majority of his sudden windfall.

Castillo is already there. He retired from his job in the metal fabrication industry in June and knows the importance of a good savings plan. This prize money is more like the icing on the cake at this point. “It’s gonna be okay,” Castillo said, describing it as “the easy life.” No wonder he’s smiling in the picture posted above!
Castillo bought his ticket at Speedy Spot, which is located at 701 Jenevein Avenue in San Bruno (San Mateo County). But it was at his next stop that he played the ticket and discovered the win. “I was in my car at the Post Office,” Castillo said.
His family is pretty excited about the news. “They are really happy, really happy. Especially my wife,” Castillo said. “If I die, the money is for her,” he joked, before adding that his spouse supports the savings plan. He’s giving a little money to his children too.
