A free seminar will be held Monday to help seniors, their families and caregivers learn how to guard against scammers.
- One in 5 seniors has been a victim of fraud
- Seniors are the most targeted group
- New scams are developed constantly
The seminar will be held Monday, Sept. 29, 9-11 a.m. at the South San Francisco Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Dr., South San Francisco, 94080.
Representatives from the state Contractors License Board, the state Public Utilities Commission, Assemblyman Kevin Mullin and more will be on hand.
