I love books, I look forward to finding the right novel to pass the time wrapped in a good story. I also like what I find in books that the author didn't leave, but a previous owner did.
I have been know to go through a pile of books at a sale, not by looking at the spine, but by reviewing the top edge to see if there is a gap made by a foreign object. In a few weeks I will be displaying some books I found recently with varied contents.
The invitation above is one of my most special finds. The landing of Apollo 11 on the moon was a momentous occasion in our nation's history. One of the many celebrations upon the astronaut's return was this black tie affair held by the White House.
