Abducted Toddler Found in Arizona

A 2-year-old girl who was taken by her parents from a downtown Los Angeles courtroom after her maternal grandmother was granted temporary custody has been found unharmed in Arizona, police said today.
Mariah Salguero had been the object of a so-called CARE Alert following her abduction Wednesday from a Superior Court courtroom, police said.

According to Los Angeles police, the child's parents -- Christopher Salguero and Rosa Chairez, both 25 -- took her from the courtroom, and her father was seen walking away with the girl and several family members.
Police issued a CARE Alert, not an Amber Alert, because there was no identifiable automobile connected with the abduction, authorities said. CARE stands for Child Abduction Regional Emergency.

Police said the child was found in Arizona. It was not immediately clear if the parents would be arrested.
CBS2 reported the child was found at a relative's home in Goodyear, Ariz., which is west of Phoenix.
Her parents, who cooperated with authorities, were not arrested, according to Lisa Kutis of the Goodyear Police Department. Arrangements were being made to return the girl to her grandmother, Kutis said
