Fairfield At-Risk Senior Citizen Found Safe

The missing person was located unharmed and has been reunited with her family. The Fairfield Police Department would like to thank the members of the public and Solano County Office of Emergency Services for their assitance.

Fairfield police today are searching for a missing at-risk elderly woman who is suffering from dementia.

Darlene Gardner, 86, was last seen by her family at 9:30 a.m. today at her residence in the 600 block of Cement Hill Road, Officer Rebecca Belk said. Gardner is white, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 118 pounds.

She was wearing a blue/off-white sweater and light blue or navy pants and is considered at-risk because of her age and mental state, police said.
