
The Fairfield PAL Teen Center will host a series of self-defense classes for girls this summer. Workshops will include self-defense techniques and skills from several martial art styles. Each of the techniques that will be covered was selected with the objective of helping participants feel in control of their bodies and boundaries. No experience is necessary. Girls will need to arrive dressed to move comfortably and bring a water bottle with them.

A PAL membership is required to participate. Fairfield PAL is open to Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis teens ages 13-18 who are enrolled in middle or high school. Memberships are available at the Fairfield Community Center (1000 Kentucky Street in Fairfield) with a valid student ID and a parent or guardian’s signature.
