Rockville Road Crash Victim Identified By Solano County Coroner
A Fairfield woman died Friday in the solo-vehicle crash.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The Solano County coroner's office has identified a driver who died in a solo vehicle crash near Fairfield on Friday as Norma Jackson, 75, of Fairfield.
Jackson was driving a gray 1999 Jeep Cherokee west on Rockville Road near Lozano Lane just west of Fairfield city limits around 9 a.m. The Jeep turned to the right and drove off the road onto a dirt shoulder,
according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Jeep then struck several objects before hitting a large tree. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:20 a.m., according to the coroner's office.
