1 Dead In Rollover Near Temecula: Authorities

TEMECULA, CA — One person died and another was seriously injured in a rollover crash Sunday near Temecula, according to authorities.

The incident was reported at 2 p.m. in the area of Highway 79 and Pauba Road, according to a post on X from the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department account. One victim died at the scene and the other was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, authorities said.

The incident was turned over to the California Highway Patrol for investigation.
