2 CR&R Trash Truck Fires Doused In Temecula
Both fires were reported in residential areas.

TEMECULA, CA — For the second day this week, fire crews in Temecula were called to extinguish blazes that erupted in CR&R trash trucks.
Friday's fire was reported at 11:19 a.m. in the 31000 block of Brush Creek Circle, a gated community of Roripough Ranch.
When firefighters arrived at the location, the trash truck was "fully involved in fire," according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. The blaze was quickly knocked down, and there were no reports of injuries. It's unclear how the fire started.

Thursday's CR&R trash truck fire was reported at 10:11 a.m. in a residential area in the 43600 block of Preece Lane.
Heavy smoke was coming from the recycling truck's container when fire crews arrived, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department Capt. John Clingingsmith.

The non-injury blaze was quickly contained and the cause was under investigation.
