34 Arrested During Southwest Riverside County 'Compliance' Sweep

Law enforcement teams checked in on probationers and parolees in Temecula, Murrieta, Wildomar, Menifee and Lake Elsinore.​

SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A task force comprised of multiple law enforcement teams recently checked in on probationers and parolees across Southwest Riverside County and made 34 arrests in the process, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced Wednesday.

The "compliance checks" were conducted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. December 17 in Temecula, Murrieta, Wildomar, Menifee and Lake Elsinore.

According to the sheriff's department, the 34 adults were arrested on suspicion of a variety of misdemeanor and felony crimes.

Some of the items seized during the operation included 4 firearms, several hundred rounds of ammunition, 66 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of heroin and two stolen vehicles, the sheriff's department reported.
