4 Dogs, Snake Killed In Aguanga House Fire Sunday: Cal Fire
Though the scene was evacuated, five pets died in the Aguanga fire.

AGUANGA, CA — A single-wide mobile home caught fire Sunday in Aguanga, killing four dogs and a snake that were trapped inside, according to a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson.
Shortly after 10:45 a.m., firefighters arrived at the 46400 block of Stanley Road, where they found a single, wide mobile home fully involved with flames.
Firefighters extinguished the fire around 12:10 p.m. but found the deceased animals inside. Cal Fire spokesperson Maggie De La Rossa said.

According to De La Rossa, the property was a rental property, and everyone had evacuated the scene before the fire department arrived. After the blaze, firefighters called for assistance from the Riverside County Department of Animal Services.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, but fire crews predicted remaining on the scene for an additional hour.
