81 Registered Sex Offenders In Southwest Riverside County Checked On

The checks in Temecula and nearby unincorporated areas were conducted by deputies with the Southwest Sheriff's Station.

SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A compliance check last week on 81 registered sex offenders in Southwest Riverside found that three of them were violating their registration terms, according to authorities.

The checks were conducted Sept. 26 by deputies with the Southwest Sheriff's Station. The station services the city of Temecula and the De Luz Community Services District, as well as the unincorporated communities of Aguanga, French Valley, Rainbow Canyon, Rancho California, Sage, Santa Margarita, Santa Rosa, Silver Hawk and Wolf Valley.

Seventy-eight of the 81 registered offenders were contacted and in compliance, according to the station.

Charges are expected to be filed against the three who were out of compliance, the station reported.

The Southwest Sheriff’s Station reported that it plans to conduct similar compliance operations.
