RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – Sit-ups, push-ups, planks and more. All while getting scolded. The latest local group to take on the Internet's current craze shows us what it's like to be training in a police academy.
In their version of the "mannequin challenge," the Riverside County Sheriff's Department posted a video of the current class of recruits taking part in the viral trend which requires participants to hold a pose in complete stillness while the camera pans.
With a total of 19 recruits training to work for agencies like RSO, Cathedral City PD, Imperial County Sheriff, Inyo County Sheriff, Pomona PD and UCR PD, class number 200 is in their twelfth week of the academy.
