Big Rig Crash Forces Lane Closures On SR-79 Near Temecula

TEMECULA, CA — A big rig overturned Wednesday morning on state Route 79 in the unincorporated Aguanga area near Temecula.

The crash was reported at about 3:35 a.m. between Vail Oak and Sage roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.

All lanes of the highway were temporarilty closed near the crash scene and drivers were encouraged to use alternate routes, Caltrans said.

No injuries were immediately reported and the cause of the crash was under investigation.
