Community Center Gym Floor Dedicated To Domenigoni Family
Winchester honored the region's pioneer farming family, major contributors to the facility and recreation programs, at the ribbon-cutting.
WINCHESTER, CA — The Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District honored one of the region's founding farming families, the Domenigonis, earlier this month for their generosity and support as it unveiled the newly installed gymnasium floor at the Francis Domenigoni Community Center in Winchester.
"Valley-Wide Recreation proudly commemorates the legacy and the future of the Domenigoni family and dedicates the new gymnasium floor in the Francis Domenigoni Community Center as a symbol of gratitude,” district general manager Dean Wetter said during the July 8 ribbon-cutting.
The pioneering family, among the first to settle the region, contributed over the past 20 years to the park district and initial construction of the facility, and the gym's center court now bears the logo of the Domenigoni brand.
