TEMECULA, CA — Four crash victims, including two young Orange County soccer players, killed Saturday night in a fiery crash on Interstate 15 in Temecula, have been identified by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.

His passenger, a 22-year-old man, was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in critical condition, according to police, as was the as-of-yet unidentified driver of the BMW.

The crash was reported at 9:33 p.m. Saturday. A black BMW M4 piloted by a 25-year-old Moreno Valley man — who was driving erratically on northbound I-15 — veered to the left, went over the freeway's concrete median wall into southbound I-15 traffic lanes, and directly into the path of a white Nissan Sentra driven by Callans, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred about 1 mile north of Winchester Road.

The driver of the BMW, a 25-year-old man from Moreno Valley who has not been identified, was pulled from the driver’s seat by a former NFL player and a good Samaritan. The driver suffered significant injuries and was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center, according to police. His three passengers all died at the scene of the crash.

A GoFundMe has been established for the loved ones of Jacob and Mina, both soccer players for the SoCal Reds Football Club, according to Lynn Perez, Head of Soccer Operations for that club. The boys, both members of the Boys 2011 EA team, were returning home from a soccer tournament at the time of the crash.

"Their joy, passion, and love for the game touched everyone around them," Perez said. "We are hoping to continue the lasting legacy of Jacob and Mina, ensuring their lives are honored in meaningful ways, and their families feel the depth of this community's care."
