DUI Checkpoint Coming Up In SWR

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies will be screening for impaired driving and proper licensing.

LAKE ELSINORE CA —A DUI/driver license checkpoint will be conducted in Lake Elsinore Friday at an undisclosed location, with deputies looking for signs of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, along with checking for proper licensing, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies from the local station will hold the operation from Friday, Aug. 30 at 9 p.m. to Saturday, Aug. 31 at 3 a.m. at a location selected from collision statistics and the frequency of impaired-driving arrests, the agency said.

Deputies reminded motorists that “DUI Doesn’t Just Mean Booze.”
