Firefighters Battle Temecula Barn Blaze Thanksgiving Night

TEMECULA, CA — A single-story barn outbuilding caught fire Thursday evening just west of Temecula off Sandia Creek Drive and Carancho Road, in the De Luz area, a Cal Fire spokesperson said.

Just before 8:15 p.m., firefighters arrived at a home near the 25500 block of Carancho Road.

Fire officials said the blaze caused damage to the barn building but did not affect any other buildings in the area. It was contained within two hours. No one was injured in the blaze, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

There was no immediate estimate on the amount of damage.
