Helicopter Aids In Temecula Arrest Near Pechanga Parkway: Cops

Temecula officers attempted to stop a man on an outstanding warrant at Deer Hollow Way and Peach Tree Street near Great Oak High School.

TEMECULA, CA—Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Southwest Station deputies assisted in serving an outstanding felony warrant and arresting the suspect Wednesday afternoon in Temecula.

Bobby Patton, 46, was taken into custody on two out-of-county outstanding felony warrants: violating conditions of his probation and possessing a controlled substance while in jail, according to jail records.

Just after 12:30 p.m., deputies located Patton's vehicle at Deer Hollow Way and Peach Tree Street behind Great Oak High School.

Officers followed "with the assistance of the Riverside Sheriff's Aviation Unit," Vickers said.

Ultimately, officers managed to stop the suspect on Wolf Creek Road, less than a mile away, where the Patton was taken into custody without incident.

He is being held at the Southwest Detention Center without bail and was expected to appear in court Thursday morning.
