'Highly Visible' Propane Fire Near Temecula Injures 1

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A person suffered burn injuries in a fire Sunday involving multiple large propane tanks near Temecula, according to authorities.

As of shortly before 10 a.m., firefighters were on the scene of the outdoor blaze in the 34000 block of Calle Bella Loma, according to a post on X from the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department account.

The victim had minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to a hospital, and two nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution, authorities said.

The blaze was contained to the tanks but was highly visible to the surrounding area, according to authorities.
